Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, [so

Then said they, Come
, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the
law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel
from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with
the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.
For the priest's
lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he [is
] the messenger
of the LORD of hosts.
to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am
with you alway, [even
the end of the world. Amen
For I have
not shunned to declare unto you all
the counsel of God.
