Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I [am
] the LORD your God. ... Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do
, he shall live in them: I [am
] the LORD.
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently
unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love
the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, ... And I will send
grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe [and
] to do all
his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set
thee on high above all nations of the earth: ... And thou shalt
not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, [to
] the right
hand, or [to
] the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
And, behold, this day I [am] going
the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing
hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, [and
] not one thing hath failed thereof. ... Therefore it shall come to pass, [that
] as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall
the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have
not obeyed my voice: why have
ye done this?

: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
O that thou
hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had
thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea: ... Thy seed
also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name
should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise
built his house upon a rock: ... And the rain
descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for
it was founded upon a rock.
