2 ¶ Then Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every Iskillful person in IIwhom the LORD had put IIIskill, aeveryone whose heart stirred him, to come to the work to perform it. 3 They received from Moses all the Icontributions which the sons of Israel had brought IIto perform the work IIIin the construction of the sanctuary. And they still [continued] bringing to him freewill offerings every morning. 4 And all the Iskillful men who were performing all the work of the sanctuary came, each from IIthe work which IIIhe was performing, 5 and they said to IMoses, “aThe people are bringing much more than enough for the IIconstruction work which the LORD commanded [us] to IIIperform.” 6 So Moses issued a command, and a Iproclamation was circulated throughout the camp, saying, “Let no man or woman any longer perform work for the IIcontributions of the sanctuary.” Thus the people were restrained from bringing [any more]. 7 aFor the Imaterial they had was sufficient and more than enough for all the work, to perform it.

8aAll the Iskillful men among those who were performing the work made the IItabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twisted linen and IIIblue and purple and scarlet [material], with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman, IVBezalel made them. 9 The length of each curtain was twenty-eight Icubits and the width of each curtain four Icubits; all the curtains had IIthe same measurements. 10 He Ijoined five curtains to one another and [the other] five curtains he Ijoined to one another. 11 He made loops of Iblue on the edge of the IIoutermost curtain in the first IIIset; he did likewise on the edge of the curtain that was IIoutermost in the second IIIset. 12 He made afifty loops in the one curtain and he made fifty loops on the Iedge of the curtain that was in the second IIset; the loops were opposite each other. 13 He made afifty clasps of gold and Ijoined the curtains to one another with the clasps, so the tabernacle was IIa unit.

The offerings are delivered to the workmen.

1 ¶ Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded. 2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, [even] every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it: 3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it [withal]. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning. 4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;

The liberality of the people is restrained.

5 ¶ And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make. 6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing. 7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
