NASB — Philippians 3 — KJV

The Goal of Life

1 Finally, my brethren, arejoice in the Lord. To write the same things [again] is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.

[1] aPhp 2:18; 4:4

2 ¶ Beware of the adogs, beware of the bevil workers, beware of the Ifalse circumcision; 3 for awe are the [true] Icircumcision, who bworship in the Spirit of God and cglory in dChrist Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh, 4 although aI myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else has a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more: 5 acircumcised the eighth day, of the bnation of Israel, of the ctribe of Benjamin, a bHebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, da Pharisee; 6 as to zeal, aa persecutor of the church; as to the brighteousness which is in the Law, found cblameless.

He warneth them to beware of the false teachers of the circumcision,

1 ¶ Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed [is] not grievous, but for you [it is] safe. 2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. 3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
