The LORD Gives Dominion to the King.

A Psalm of David.

  1 aThe LORD says to my Lord:
  “bSit at My right hand
  Until I make cYour enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
  2 The LORD will stretch forth Your strong ascepter from Zion, [saying],
  “bRule in the midst of Your enemies.”
  3 Your apeople Iwill volunteer freely in the day of Your IIpower;
  bIn IIIholy array, from the womb of the dawn,
  IVYour youth are to You [as] the cdew.

  6 He will ajudge among the nations,
  He Iwill fill [them] with bcorpses,
  He IIwill cshatter the IIIchief men over a broad country.
  7 He will adrink from the brook by the wayside;
  Therefore He will blift up [His] head.
