NASB — Hebrews 2 — KJV

Give Heed

1 For this° reason° we must° pay° much° closer° attention° to Iwhat we have heard°, so° that awe do not drift° away° [from it]. 2 For if° the word° aspoken° through° bangels° proved° Iunalterable°, and cevery° transgression° and disobedience° received° a just° IIdpenalty°, 3 ahow° will we escape° if we neglect° so° great° a bsalvation°? IAfter° it was at the first° cspoken° through° the Lord°, it was dconfirmed° to us by those° who heard°, 4 God° also testifying° with them, both° by asigns° and wonders° and by bvarious° Imiracles° and by IIcgifts° of the Holy° Spirit° daccording° to His own will°.

5 ¶ For He did not subject° to angels° Iathe world° to come°, concerning° which° we are speaking°. 6 But one° has testified° asomewhere°, saying°,

We ought to be obedient to Christ Jesus,

1 ¶ Thereforeºº weº oughtºª to give the more earnest¹ heedºª² to the things which we have heard,ºª lest at any timeº we should let [them] slip.ºª 2 Forº ifº the² wordº spokenºª byº angelsº wasºª stedfast,º andº everyº transgressionº andº disobedienceº receivedºª a justº recompence of reward;º 3 Howº shall weº escape,ºª if we neglectºª so greatº salvation;º whichº at the first¹ beganºª² to be spokenºª byº the² Lord,º and² was confirmedºª untoº usº byº them that heardºª [him]; 4 Godº also bearing [them] witness,ºª bothº with signsº andº wonders,º andº with diversº miracles,º andº giftsº of the Holyº Ghost,º according² to¹ his own¹² will?º
