  1 O LORD°, in Your strength° the king° will abe glad°,
  And in Your Isalvation° how° greatly° he will rejoice°!
  2 You have agiven° him his heart’s° desire°,
  And You have not withheld° the request° of his lips°.
      ISelah°.
  3 For You ameet° him with the blessings° of good° things°;
  You set° a bcrown° of fine° gold° on his head°.
  4 He asked° life° of You,
  You agave° it to him,
  bLength° of days° forever° and ever°.
  5 His aglory° is great° through Your Isalvation°,
  bSplendor° and majesty° You place° upon him.
  6 For You make° him Imost° ablessed° forever°;
  You make° him joyful° bwith gladness° in Your presence°.

  7 ¶ For the king° atrusts° in the LORD°,

7 For² the kingº trustethºª in the LORD,º and through the mercyº of the most Highº he shall not² be moved.ºª 8 Thine handº shall find outºª all² thine enemies:ºª thy right handº shall find outºª those that hateºª thee. 9 Thou shalt makeºª them as a fieryº ovenº in the timeº of thine anger:º the LORDº shall swallow them upºª in his wrath,º and the fireº shall devourºª them. 10 Their fruitº shalt thou destroyºª from the earth,º² and their seedº from among the childrenº² of men.º 11 For² they intendedºª evilº against² thee: they imaginedºª a mischievous device,º [which] they are not² ableºª [to perform]. 12 Therefore² shalt thou makeºª them turn their back,º [when] thou shalt make readyºª [thine arrows] upon thy stringsº against² the faceº of them. 13 Be thou exalted,ºª LORD,º in thine own strength:º [so] will we singºª and praiseºª thy power.º
