The LORD Exalts the Humble.

  1 IPraise IIthe LORD!
  aPraise, O bservants of the LORD,
  Praise the name of the LORD.
  2 aBlessed be the name of the LORD
  From this time forth and forever.
  3 aFrom the rising of the sun to its setting
  The bname of the LORD is to be praised.
  4 The LORD is ahigh above all nations;
  His bglory is above the heavens.

An exhortation to praise God for his excellency,

1 ¶ Praise ye the LORD.
