Job appealeth from men to God.

The unmerciful dealing of men with the afflicted may astonish, but not discourage the righteous.

6 He hath madeºª me also a bywordº of the people;º and aforetimeº I was² as a tabret.º 7 Mine eyeº also is dimºª by reason of sorrow,º² and all² my membersº [are] as a shadow.º 8 Uprightº [men] shall be astoniedºª at² this,² and the innocentº shall stir up¹ª himself² against² the hypocrite.º 9 The righteousº also shall holdºª on his way,º and he that hath clean¹² handsº shall be¹ª stronger and stronger.º² 10 Butº as for you all,² do ye return,ºª and come² now:¹ª² for I cannot² findºª [one] wiseº [man] among you.
