The Bronze Altar

1 “And you shall make athe altar of acacia wood, five Icubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. 2 You shall make aits horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with Ibronze. 3 You shall make its pails for removing its ashes, and its shovels and its basins and its forks and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze. 4 You shall make for it a grating of network of bronze, and on the net you shall make four bronze rings Iat its four corners. 5 You shall put it beneath, under the ledge of the altar, so that the net will reach halfway up the altar. 6 You shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. 7 Its poles shall be inserted into the rings, so that the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar awhen it is carried. 8 You shall make it hollow with planks; aas it was shown to you in the mountain, so they shall make [it].

Court of the Tabernacle

9 ¶ “You shall make athe court of the Itabernacle. IIOn the south side [there shall be] hangings for the court of fine twisted linen one hundred cubits long for one side; 10 and its pillars [shall be] twenty, with their twenty Isockets of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their IIbands [shall be] of silver. 11 Likewise for the north side in length [there shall be] hangings one hundred [cubits] long, and its twenty pillars with their twenty Isockets of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands [shall be] of silver. 12 [For] the width of the court on the west side [shall be] hangings of fifty cubits [with] their ten pillars and their ten Isockets. 13 The width of the court on the Ieast side [shall be] fifty cubits. 14 The hangings for the [one] Iside [of the gate shall be] fifteen cubits [with] their three pillars and their three IIsockets. 15 And for the Iother IIside [shall be] hangings of fifteen cubits [with] their three pillars and their three IIIsockets. 16 For the gate of the court [there shall be] a screen of twenty cubits, of Iblue and purple and scarlet [material] and fine twisted linen, the work of a IIweaver, [with] their four pillars and their four IIIsockets. 17 All the pillars around the court shall be furnished with silver bands [with] their hooks of silver and their Isockets of bronze. 18 The length of the court [shall be] one hundred cubits, and the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits of fine twisted linen, and their Isockets of bronze. 19 All the utensils of the tabernacle [used] in all its service, and all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, [shall be] of bronze.

The altar of burnt offering, with the vessels thereof.

1 ¶ And thou shalt make an altar [of] shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof [shall be] three cubits. 2 And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass. 3 And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make [of] brass. 4 And thou shalt make for it a grate of network [of] brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four corners thereof. 5 And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar. 6 And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with brass. 7 And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it. 8 Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it was shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make [it].

12 ¶ And [for] the breadth of the court on the west side [shall be] hangings of fifty cubits: their pillars ten, and their sockets ten. 13 And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward [shall be] fifty cubits. 14 The hangings of one side [of the gate shall be] fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three. 15 And on the other side [shall be] hangings fifteen [cubits]: their pillars three, and their sockets three.

16 ¶ And for the gate of the court [shall be] an hanging of twenty cubits, [of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework: [and] their pillars [shall be] four, and their sockets four. 17 All the pillars round about the court [shall be] filleted with silver; their hooks [shall be of] silver, and their sockets [of] brass.

20 ¶ And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always. 21 In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which [is] before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: [it shall be] a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
