Job protesteth his sincerety.

1 ¶ Moreover² Jobº continuedº¹ªª his parable,º and said,ºª 2 [As] Godº liveth,º [who] hath taken awayºª my judgment;º and the Almighty,º [who] hath vexedºª my soul;º 3 All² the whileº my breathº [is] in me, and the spiritº of Godº [is] in my nostrils;º 4 My lipsº shall not² speakºª wickedness,º nor² my tongueº utterºª deceit.º 5 God forbidº that² I should justifyºª you: till² I dieºª I will not² removeºª mine integrityº from² me. 6 My righteousnessº I hold¹ª fast,² and will not² let it go:ºª my heartº shall not² reproachºª [me] so long as I live.º² 7 Let mine enemyºª be² as the wicked,º and he that riseth up¹ª against² me as the unrighteous.º
